Russian Ring Workshop - Sunday 15th September 12-3:30pm

In this relaxed and informal workshop you will learn how to cut, solder and finish sterling silver to create one ring comprising of 3 interlocking rings in a Russian Ring style. You will start by being shown how to measure your own finger and then learn silversmithing techniques such as cutting, filing and soldering to create a ring to fit perfectly. All materials and refreshments are included.

Our classes are held in our lovely, cosy studio in Croft Myl in Halifax. We have space for 6 attendees on each class where you will have your own individual workspace, and all materials and tools provided. Refreshments are included, with tea and coffee and snacks available throughout the class. There is no designated lunch break but there are natural breaks in the making process so please feel free to bring your own lunch. Times vary for each class, please ensure you read the individual descriptions thoroughly, and please be aware that finishing times are an estimate and classes may finish slightly earlier or slightly later than the time given. Please note that classes will be unable to run if the minimum requirement of 3 attendees do not book on. 

Please bring reading glasses if required and tie long hair back.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building there is no wheelchair access to Croft Myl and there is stepped access only to the studio. 

All bookings are non-refundable or transferable.

Fantastic workshop!

Really fantastic workshop. Zoe is such a great teacher, she makes things really straightforward. Lovely small group and a great way to spend a day. Leaving with my own handmade ring was such a thrill!

Great workshop

This is the 2nd workshop I’ve attended with Zoe. The small groups allow you plenty of support if required. Zoe explains everything really well and is very encouraging. It’s a relaxed atmosphere and its a thrill to have a completed piece of lovely jewellery at the end. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Ring Workshop!

My sister and I came as a birthday present for her. Zoe was amazing and we enjoyed being in a small group with people we quickly became friendly with. Workshop was fantastic and the process was very clear. We were total beginners and the finishing product was a beautiful ring! We will definitely be back to do another workshop soon.
